Even months out from a presidential election, political talk could be weighing on your workers. But leaders: you can play a key role here.  

More than half of employees say they are "uncomfortable with political conversations in meetings," according to a new Harris Poll survey, in partnership with Indeed, from January and February. Additionally, 40 percent of workers say politics impact team morale. 

And yet, these discussions are happening: 61 percent of workers in a Glassdoor survey from October said they'd discussed politics at work in the last year. Glassdoor's chief economist only expected that to grow heading into an election year with ongoing geopolitical tensions.
