Earlier this year, I had a conversation with my co-host of Primary Technology about our favorite new-ish apps. As we talked, we both immediately agreed that the app we thought deserved the title was Callsheet, from independent iOS developer Casey Liss. 

It occurred to me that Callsheet was worth writing about, not just because the app is so good, but because of the story. Don't get me wrong, the app is very good, and if you are someone who watches movies or TV shows, there is no question you should download it immediately. I mean it when I say I think it's the best app released in the last six months. 

I love the idea that Liss describes Callsheet as "IMDB, but made by someone who cares." IMDB, or the Internet Movie Database, is a website and app that lets you look up movies and TV shows for information about the cast and crew. If you are someone who watches a lot of movies or TV, you are no doubt familiar with the app, but there's a good chance you don't love using it.
