Travis Kelce Understands Sleep Is Basically a Legal Performance-enhancing Drug

Everyone from Hollywood stars to congressional Republicans has an opinion about the romance between singer Taylor Swift and Super Bowl-bound Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Apparently, that includes Kelce's dad, Ed, who offered Vanity Fair this endorsement of the budding relationship: 

They're two wonderful people and they are enjoying each other's company. I think she realizes how committed Travis is to sleep, 10 hours a day, when your body is going through this kind of thing, so I think they're both very supportive.

This is both sweet and kind of weird. Few parents use their kid's partner's acceptance of their sleep schedule as a metric for evaluating the relationship. But this tells us two things. One, Travis has the blessing of dear old dad on his new relationship. And two, he must really, really prioritize sleep.
