U.S. Military Confirms Ohio Man Among the Eight Lost in Osprey Crash in Japan

Recovery efforts are now being made for all of the bodies

On Tuesday, Air Force Special Operations Command said it has identified the eight service members lost when their Osprey crashed off the coast of Japan last week.

U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Brian Johnson, 32, of Reynoldsburg, was among those on the aircraft, according to the military. He was a flight engineer assigned to the 21st Special Operations Squadron, 353rd Special Operations Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan.

Recovery efforts are now being made for all of their bodies and the aircraft debris.
