Ohio BWC Announces OH|ID is Coming for its Customers

OH|ID offers enhanced security and privacy for online interactions

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) is excited to introduce a development aimed at revolutionizing its customers' online experience with the agency. The OH|ID pre-registration for its external customer logins is now underway.

According to the BWC, this marks a significant step forward in ensuring more accessible and secure online services for its customers. OH|ID impacts a range of individuals and entities, including employers, providers, injured workers, authorized representatives and managed care organizations (MCOs).

OH|ID offers enhanced security and privacy for online interactions with Ohio government services. With an OH|ID account, customers can securely access multiple state agency applications streamlining their digital experience from any device. OH|ID must be unique to each customer, and credentials should never be shared to protect their information.  2-Step Verification, also known as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), ensures secure access through multi-step verification methods such as SMS, phone call, email or an authenticator app.
