Flowers-Clements to Serve as Ohio University's Multicultural Center Director

She has worked for the university in various roles since 2014

Interim Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Dr. Russell Morrow has announced that Lisa Flowers-Clements will serve as the Director of the Multicultural Center within the Ohio University Division of Diversity and Inclusion. Her appointment to the position began Oct. 9, 2023.

A two-time alumna, Flowers-Clements comes to the role with a wealth of professional knowledge and Ohio University experience. She has earned a bachelor's degree in special education and teaching and a master's of education from OHIO.

Flowers-Clements originally joined Ohio University in 2014, and she has spent the last five years within the Division of Diversity and Inclusion. Flowers-Clements spoke on the topic of micro-transgressions related to racial and gender differences at the OSAP 2021 annual conference at OHIO.
