Photographer Pete Souza to Open New OHIO Exhibition of his Images

The presentation will occur at Baker University Center at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12, 2023

Ohio University Professor Emeritus of Visual Communication Pete Souza will give a presentation and talk focusing on an exhibit of his photographic images on Sept. 12, 2023, at 7 p.m. in the Baker University Center Ballroom.

The exhibit, titled, "Moments From My Archive," can be viewed at the School of Visual Communication Gallery (140 Schoonover Center) weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Sept. 11, 2023

Souza's work as an author, academic and accomplished practitioner of documentary photojournalism has been acclaimed globally. His significance owes to his ethical, professional, artistic and truthful documenting for posterity the legacies of Presidents Ronald Reagan, Barack Obama, their families and other prominent leaders. Souza chose his first public speaking appearance since leaving the Obama White House (Jan. 20, 2009 to Jan. 20, 2017) to be here at Ohio University in 2017.
