Poll Finds President Biden Plagued by Low Approval Ratings

Majority of respondents express concern over his advanced age

President Joe Biden is facing continued low approval — including from his own party — in a new CNN poll released Thursday.

Sixty-seven percent of Democratic and Democratic-leaning surveyed voters said the party should nominate someone other than Biden, with his job approval rating standing at just 39 percent among all Americans surveyed. Fity-eight percent said they believe Biden's policies have made economic conditions in the U.S. worse.

The results are consistent with other recent polling on Biden’s handling of the economy. Last month, an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll found 63 percent of surveyed Americans said they disapproved of Biden's handling of the economy.
