July 21, 2020
Current updates on association response to the global COVID-19 crisis, along with a roundup of conference, travel and business news and information.
Lessons in Handling Unmasked Rebellion
The Michigan Licensed Beverage Association (MLBA) is offering free training in conflict de-escalation to bar and restaurant employees across the state. The focus is handling customers who refuse to comply with the statewide order to wear a mask in public.
The training is designed to equip staffers and managers with skills in active listening, evaluating physical and vocal cues, and proven conflict de-escalation techniques.
