COVID-19 Update: 68,175 confirmed cases in Ohio, 2,858 Deaths

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) released the state’s latest COVID-19 (coronavirus) statistics. The agency reported 1,635 newly confirmed cases and 120 hospitalizations since yesterday. This is the highest number of confirmed cases reported in a single day in Ohio.

Additionally, the department reported 68,175 confirmed cases, 2,858 deaths, 9,364 hospitalizations and 49,302 presumed recoveries.

ODH is also reporting 4,105 probable cases and 254 additional deaths under an expanded case definition of COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
