COVID-19 Update: 59,000 Confirmed Cases in Ohio, 2,776 Deaths

This afternoon, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) released the state’s highest one-day new case confirmation since the pandemic began: 1,494 newly confirmed cases. ODH reported an additional 3,856 probable cases in addition to the 59,000 confirmed cases. The agency also reported 2,776 deaths and 256 probable deaths.
ODH also reported a total of 8,622 hospitalizations and 43,435 presumed recoveries.
