Getting Girls Ready for Kindergarten
When COVID-19 shut down schools and childcare programs last spring, even the youngest learners lost some educational momentum. Now, the Girl Scouts of the USA is stepping in to help rising kindergartners prepare for what may be their first school experience.

GSUSA this week announced a new virtual event series, “Make New Friends,” that aims to boost young girls’ social interaction with others, explore emotions and the need for persistence, encourage the use of the senses to experience the world, and give tips on how to listen to a story.
