Coronavirus Tracker: High School Association Eyes Plan to Bring Back Sports

It’s not just the big leagues talking about what the future of sports might look like amid COVID-19. It’s a question for all levels of sports—including amateur college, high school and pro.

And it’s in that spirit that the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association has launched a task force with the goal of figuring out how to make competitions safe for student-athletes during the pandemic. According to My Central Jersey, the task force will consider new proposals and recommendations for interscholastic sports, with a goal of identifying and implementing any potential modifications needed.
