Coalition Calls for Recovery Fund
A huge array of trade groups are joining forces in a campaign to secure more federal assistance amid economic recovery efforts.

Announced this week, America’s Recovery Fund Coalition represents more than 100 trade groups from 30 business sectors and fields that the coalition says employ 45 percent of the private workforce. In a letter to President Donald Trump and other political leaders in Washington, the coalition called for an increase in medium-term capital funding options beyond the current Paycheck Protection Program.

“A broad-based, efficient recovery fund that does not pick winners and losers is the best path forward. Without such a fund, our retailers, theatres, restaurants and many other industries will be decimated—and our communities will be poorer both economically and culturally as a result,” the letter states.
