Trump Declares National Emergency to Combat Coronavirus

The decision was announced at 3:30 p.m. today

At 3:30 p.m. today, President Donald Trump held a news conference on the coronavirus pandemic that is spreading across the United States.

The president declared this national emergency to open up new rules and remove restrictions on hospitals, healthcare providers and more.
