CONFERENCE IMPACT

Two major tradeshows that bring in tens of thousands of attendees are putting the brakes on their events this month. On Monday, the International Housewares Association announced that its Inspired Home Show, which was to take place at Chicago’s McCormick Place March 14–17, had been canceled. According to the Chicago Tribune, the trade-only event brings in 60,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors on average.
