Toledo's a Hot Destination

Tourism continues to be an important element of the region’s economy

Destination Toledo has new leadership — just in time as our area is primed to attract more visitors. The region’s hotel and convention bureau announced recently that Lance Woodworth is its new president and general manager.

Woodworth has experience with the agency, most recently serving as its vice president of sales and relationship management. In that role he represented Toledo in September at the 2019 Solheim Cup in Scotland, an event Toledo’s Inverness Club will host in 2021.

Preparing to capitalize on the influx of tourists and public attention that the golf tournament will attract will be a major project for Destination Toledo in the next year.
