ASAE Visitors Noticed ‘Little Touches’ In Columbus Visit

The whole city rolled out the red carpet

Those attending the John Legend concert Monday night were handed a bag of White Castle sliders when they left Nationwide Arena.

Inside the arena, the bathrooms had soap from Bath & Body Works and the concert-goers ate food prepared by Cameron Mitchell restaurants and listened to local performers such as the Fabulous Johnson Brothers before Legend performed.

Even the hotels where visitors had been staying for the American Society of Association Executive convention had welcome tables that featured local products such as candles from the Candle Lab. Including products from local businesses was meant to give visitors at this week’s ASAE’s annual meeting, which wrapped up Tuesday night, an authentic impression of what Columbus is like, and visitors, especially those in Columbus for the first time, noticed.
