Association Law Symposium is June 4

Session topics range from the risks of political activity to data privacy and more

The American Society of Association Executives' (ASAE) Association Law Symposium will take place on June 4 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Sandra Swirski, a partner at Urban Swirski & Associates, and Mary Kate Cunningham, ASAE's vice president of public policy, will give the keynote on the 2019 political landscape and issues that impact associations.

Session topics range from the opportunities and risks of political activity to data privacy and security legislation in California and other states. International issues for associations along with UBIT implications will also be discussed. The program includes six (6) CAE credit hours. Attendees can also receive continuing legal education credits by submitting documentation to their accrediting states for approval.
