Voting Leave Requirements

Know what your state requires

Some states require that your employees be given time off to vote. Several states mandate the
time must be paid, others allow unpaid time off. If you have an employee handbook that provides a
voting policy, compare it to the below-linked handout to make sure you are in legal compliance.
