Position Summary:
The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Cleveland is seeking an executive director. The executive director serves as the chief administrative officer and recommends and participates in the formulation of new policies and makes decisions within the bounds of existing policies. In addition, the executive director plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the staff, programs and activities to ensure the association’s goals and objectives are met.

The Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Cleveland was founded in 1943 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, advancement and professionalism of the building and associated industries.
The Purpose:
The Purpose:
- To defend against over-regulation of the home-building industry that, which inhibits affordable housing
- To educate our members and nonmembers through training and social activities
- To continue to establish and prescribe industry standards through our registered builder program
- To act as the credible resource and voice of the building industry for the home-buying public, government officials and the associated building trade industries
Mission Statement: We enhance our members ability to meet the housing needs of the public by providing superior services and benefits to those engaged in the building industry.
