Membership Categories

Association Executive Members
Membership is open to all association staff personnel who spend fifty percent (50%) or more of their time on association management. The term "association" includes business, trade, professional, educational, philanthropic and technical organizations.

Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) Members
All staff personnel of Convention & Visitors Bureaus are eligible for membership.

Industry Partners (Vendors/Suppliers/Properties)
Membership is open to any firm providing services or products to associations, and includes hotels, speakers bureaus, law firms, educational institutions, government agencies, etc. Affiliate membership is granted in the name of the firm. One individual is then designated as the primary representative.

Association Professional or CVB Member
First Representative $365.00
Additional Representative (same association or CVB) $185.00
Industry Partner (Vendors/Suppliers/Properties)
First Representative $415.00
Additional Representative (same association or CVB) $210.00

 

OSAP dues are based on a calendar year, January thru December and will be prorated for new members quarterly. OSAP dues payment may be deductible by members as an ordinary and necessary business expense. They are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.


OSAP Standards of Conduct

The Standards of Conduct for members of the Ohio Society of Association Professionals has been adopted to promote and maintain the highest standards of association service and personal conduct among its members. Adherence to these standards is expected from members of the society, and serves to assure public confidence in the integrity and service of association professionals.
