Gmail Big Redesign

The service also has made tasks easier to access and more robust

If you’re a Gmail user, get ready for your inbox to work harder for you. Today, Google is rolling out a fresh look and several new features to the webmail client—its biggest redesign since 2011.

One of the most significant new features is the ability to assign certain emails a “confidential mode,” reports CNBC. Users will now be able to set emails to expire after a certain amount of time and even assign a passcode that email recipients will get in a text message.

The service has also made tasks easier to access and more robust. And now, your calendar will appear in the right rail, cutting down on how often you have to switch browsers.
