ASAE to Host Tax Reform Discussion on Facebook Live, Periscope

The event will be held on Jan. 31

For the first time since 1986 Congress has passed comprehensive tax reform. What will the changes mean for your association? To learn more about tax reform and the impact on the association community, the American Society of Association Executives is inviting you to join them for a Power of A Facebook Live and Periscope session on Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. EST.

During the program, ASAE President & CEO John Graham IV, FASAE, CAE, and Sandra Swirski, co-founder at Urban Swirski & Associates, will field questions from association leaders about how tax policy will change this year through regulation, possible technical corrections and spending bills. An attorney with almost 30 years of public policy experience, Swirski has advised two senior U.S. senators, served as an executive at a Fortune 10 company and counseled multinational clients at a premier professional services company. Mary Kate Cunningham, CAE, director of public policy, will speak to ASAE's strategy, including how association professionals from around the country came together to make the bill better for the tax-exempt community.

Join them virtually through Facebook Live and Periscope on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. EST to discuss this important recognition opportunity. Submit your questions beforehand by clicking here or ask questions live.
