ASAE Announces Online Tax Reform Discussion

There will be Power of A Facebook Live/Periscope session on Jan. 31

Last year, Congress passed historic tax reform legislation that will impact associations on almost every front. To address these tax law changes, the American Society of Association Executives will host a special Power of A Facebook Live and Periscope session on Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. EST. Join this session to ask your questions about tax reform and to learn how tax policy will change this year through regulation, possible technical corrections and spending bills.

During the session, ASAE President and CEO John H. Graham IV, FASAE, CAE, and Sandra Swirski, co-founder at Urban Swirski & Associates, will field questions from association leaders about how tax policy will change this year through regulation, possible technical corrections, and spending bills.

Swirski is an attorney with almost 30 years of public policy experience. She advised two senior U.S. senators, was an executive at a Fortune 10 company and counseled multinational clients at a premier professional services company. Mary Kate Cunningham, CAE, director of public policy, will speak to ASAE’s strategy, including how association professionals from around the country came together to make the bill better for the tax-exempt community.

Join us virtually through Facebook Live and Periscope on Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 2:30 p.m. EST to discuss this important recognition opportunity. Submit your questions beforehand by clicking here or ask them live.
