ASAE Hosting Tax Reform Briefing on Jan. 23

The event will be held at 8:30 a.m. at ASAE's Washington, D.C. conference center

The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) will host a briefing on the tax law enacted late last year and the implications for associations and other tax-exempt organizations on Jan. 23 at 8:30 a.m. at the ASAE Conference Center in Washington, D.C.

The briefing will be moderated by ASAE President and CEO John Graham, FASAE, CAE and speakers will include Sandra Swirski, co-founder at Urban Swirski & Associates and Mary Kate Cunningham, director of public policy at ASAE, who will discuss ASAE’s strategy for mobilizing associations to respond to earlier drafts of the tax bill that would have impacted associations negatively. Speakers will also address what associations can do to influence regulations implementing the tax law and technical corrections to the law that will likely be needed this year.
