Superwoman Does Exist, And She Looks A Lot Like This CEO

This woman has led her company to great heights

Anybody who has kids knows that raising them is a full-time job. When you add work to the mix, things get tough as you fight for competing priorities. If you add the role of CEO and the responsibilities of organizational leadership to that schedule, though, you get something incredibly challenging that very few people are willing to navigate and even capable of pulling off.

Caryn Seidman Becker is one of those people (hence her "superpowers"). She's the chairman and CEO of Clear, a security platform that creates a “frictionless” experience for customers to quickly and securely pass through security at airports and stadiums with minimal effort. Caryn led the acquisition of CLEAR in 2010 along with co-founder Ken Cornick and has guided the revitalization and re-launch of the company ever since.

I recently had an opportunity to speak with Caryn about leadership and the art of the possible, and it’s clear (no pun intended) why Caryn sits in the CEO seat. She’s candid, honest, promotes a "we over me" culture, is incredibly motivated to “do good” by being good. But that's not all. There's more--a lot more.
