Changing leaves, pumpkin carving, apple picking and pumpkin-spiced everything typically signal that fall is here. Here's a look at how associations and meeting venues are getting in on the spirit.

It’s finally starting to feel a little bit like fall here in the D.C. area. I couldn’t be happier, and I hope it means we will not see high humidity and 90 degree temperatures for at least six months. It also means that I can finally pack away my summer wardrobe and make room for flannel shirts, lightweight jackets and that new pair of boots that’s been sitting in my closet waiting for their first wear.

Associations and meeting venues are also excited about the weather change. Many are taking advantage of the fall season by offering meetings and other experiences that have a seasonal element.
