Cleveland Rock n Roll HOF Photo Courtesy of York PhotographyAs the fall season kicks into full gear, Cleveland continues to amp up its one-of-a-kind offerings for visitors at attractions and restaurants throughout the region. This fall, guests can:

  • Grab a front row seat to experience a Rock Hall induction ceremony
  • Listen to the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra in its centennial year, or
  • Take a step back in time to the 1920s at the Cleveland Museum of Art

Opened in July 2017, the Power of Rock Experience at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame gives visitors a front row seat to performances from their favorite Rock Hall inductees. The three-part exhibit begins with induction ceremony presentations on a digital screen before entering the Connor Theater for the main show. The 12-minute film by Academy Award winning director Jonathan Demme features legendary Rock Hall Induction performances, as well as concert lighting and moving screens to give guests the full concert experience. Visitors can also participate in the “Say It Loud” story booths, which allows them to be interviewed by Inductees like Smokey Robinson and Alice Cooper.

Pitch-perfect programs ranging from classical movements to operas will hit the right note with visitors as the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra celebrates the centennial of its founding and begins its second century of performances in fall 2017. Season highlights include “The Prometheus Project,” featuring all nine of Beethoven’s symphonies and a special performance where composer John Williams will conduct the Cleveland Orchestra in a program of his works.

The Cleveland Museum of Art showcases the 1920s era with its latest exhibition, “The Jazz Age: American Style in the 1920s.” Running through Jan. 14, 2018, this is the first major museum exhibition to focus on American taste in art and design during the dynamic years of the 1920s and early 1930s. Guests should also be sure to stop by the museum’s ARTLENS Gallery, which allows them to take a closer look at the museum’s collection through an interactive approach. They can create original artwork in the ArtLens Studio, engage with touchscreen-free digital interactives in the ArtLens Exhibition and connect with the museum's collection at the ArtLens Wall. Visitors can even use the ArtLens App to save photos and map their visit at the museum.

The Cleveland History Center will unveil the new Cleveland Starts Here Exhibition in late November. The exhibition will be located at the main entrance of the Cleveland History Center as a permanent exhibit and digital portal that explores the rich and diverse history of Northeast Ohio.

For sports fanatics, the Cleveland Cavaliers will return to Quicken Loans Arena in mid-October with LeBron James and the newest addition to the team – Dwyane Wade. Quicken Loans Arena is also home to the American Hockey League’s Cleveland Monsters who play throughout the months of November and December.

Visitors can also enjoy new dining options in Cleveland. Located in the historic bank lobby of the Garfield Building in Downtown Cleveland, Marble Room Steak and Raw Bar adds to the city’s fine dining options. The restaurant’s menu features prime steaks, seafood and raw bar in a space constructed with cathedral ceilings, marble pillars and marble floors.

In September 2017, Brewnuts opened up a donut-themed bar in the Detroit Shoreway neighborhood after two years of selling delicious and addictive beer-flavored donuts at local establishments. More than just the corner bakery, Brewnuts offers donuts, beer and cocktails, and a comfortable space for locals and visitors to hang out.
