The CAE Study Sessions Are About to Kick Off

Join us on Sept. 6 to see if this is the right time for you to take the exam

Have you considered earning the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation?

The Certified Association Executive (CAE) program certification is an important designation that many within our industry seek to help set them apart from other industry colleagues. This year, OSAE is hosting its CAE Information Session on Sept. 6 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for the next CAE examination on Dec. 1, 2017.

During the informational meeting, an overview of the process leading up to and including the CAE exam will be presented by Kristy Spires, CPA, CAE, IOM, CGMA, the chief financial officer and assistant executive director, business services, of the Ohio Education Association, and Jarrod Clabaugh, OSAE's executive director. Spires and Clabaugh will explain how each of the three planned sessions will focus on specific domains from the CAE examination. At this time, all of the sessions will be held at the OSAE office; should this change, OSAE will share this information with participants in advance of the meetings.

Please respond by e-mail to OSAE if you are attending the Sept. 6 meeting at osae@osae.org. Even if you can’t attend this meeting, please let us know by e-mail if you intend to take the CAE exam on Dec. 1 to help us plan for future programming.

The fall study sessions will be held on the following dates:

• Sept. 6, 2017           Informational Session            4:00-5:30 P.M.
• Oct. 3, 2017             Domains 2, 3 & 4                   4:00-7:00 P.M.
• Oct. 24, 2017           Domain 1 & 5                         4:00-7:00 P.M.
• Nov. 13, 2017          Domains 6, 7, 8 & 9               4:00-7:00 P.M.
• Nov. 20, 2017          CAE Exam Simulation            8:30-1:00 P.M.

All meetings will be held at OSAE's office at 1335 Dublin Rd., Ste. 205-C, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
