A new partnership aims to shed light on the world’s most common cancer

A new partnership with Amazon will bring a wider audience to the Skin Cancer Foundation’s content, expertise, and advice related to the world’s most common cancer.

In less than two weeks, Memorial Day will herald the unofficial start to summer. Millions of Americans will likely jet off to the beach, while others will flock to the pool or congregate around the grill to celebrate—especially if the day is bright and sunny.

But with the sun comes harmful ultraviolet radiation, which is the cause of nearly 90 percent of non-melanoma skin cancers, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. In fact, one-out-of-five Americans will develop a skin cancer over the course of his or her lifetime, making it the world’s most common cancer.
