The Convention Industry Council has re-branded itself

Now the Events Industry Council, the organization’s new name and logo came about thanks to member feedback.

As the event industry evolves, so, too, does one of its well-known organizations. The Convention Industry Council has re-branded itself as the Events Industry Council (EIC).

The council swapped the word “convention” for “events” in its name because its members see “events” as more universal and modern, according to a news release. Reflecting the name change, EIC has also introduced a new logo.
