Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society
The Manager of Development and Events:
- Manages fundraising operations , works with volunteers and donors and plans all conferences and events for Mortar Board; sets strategy for all fund solicitations, manages complex spreadsheets; manages web-based association software modules related to donations and payments; prepares reports, creates fundraising and donor development materials; manages the Mortar Board Fellowship Program; works with external event planning companies to secure venues; handles all operations relating to event management, including budget, promotion/advertisement; advises on content development for the national conference, Leadership Excellence and Advisor Development (LEAD) and leadership meetings; manages on-site and virtual events.
- Sets strategy for all fund solicitations, manages complex spreadsheets showing donor giving, analyzes donor lists, manages web-base association software modules related to donations and payment, prepares reports on the success of campaigns, creates fundraising and donor development materials, designs and implements an effective fundraising calendar for outreach and mailings, and controls the operation of the Mortar Board Fellowship application process;
- Works with external event planning companies to secure venues for the national conference and leadership meetings, handles all operations relating to event management, including budgeting and control of association management software modules, and effectively handles all operations on site; arranges for the promotion and advertisement of webinars that stimulate solid educational programming for collegiate and alumni chapters year round; advises on content development for the national conference, Leadership Excellence and Advisor Development (LEAD) and the leadership meeting; manages on-site and virtual events; special projects and duties as assigned.
